The V2’s new housing incorporates a sound-reducing foam designed especially for ventilation systems and doesn’t absorb moisture or dust. The metal flanges are inserted into the housing with rubber grommets, forming a seal. The fan, flanges and silencing tube insert into a light, sturdy and moulded outer-body working to deaden sound.

How Do The Revolution Vector Fans Work?

The Revolution Vector silenced V2 EC extraction fans have a new sealed housing. The housing was developed as a new and novel solution to reduce the noise of airflow. Revolution fans couple the new housing design with silent motors and powerful, double-balanced aerodynamically optimised blades and guide vanes.

Vector fans feature frictionless electronically commutated (EC) motors that deliver a level of efficiency that blows a lot of other extraction fans out of the water. Vector fans use around half the power of a traditional duct fan, saving you money on your energy bills. They also generate huge pressure levels, moving a massive volumes of air for their size. They also deal with the drag factor created by your carbon filter with ease.

Control EC Fans To Use Less Power and Create Less Noise

Use your Vector fans in conjunction with a G.A.S. fan speed controller. You will need an Active Male to Male cable. G.A.S. have carefully designed and engineered their fans and controllers specifically for use with EC motors. With G.A.S EC fans and controllers you can regulate fans right down to 1% of their output in 1% increments to avoid buzzing or humming.

Improved Noise and Energy Efficiency

Unlike other types of extraction fans, EC fans offer improved energy efficiency, as they operate in direct correlation with the amount of power you apply to them. This allows you to finely control the speed, noise, amount of air the unit is moving and costs. When you turn a typical duct fan down to 50%, it delivers less than 50% of its rated airflow and continue to consume 100% of the power.
